FADED IMAGING :::
This is a nice mix between Baltimore club,
Electro and brekbeat. With elements from all the aforementioned styles, this tune has something
for everyone. The sample selection and envelope manipulation is definitely on point in addition
to having a nice breakdown with a "Rasta" style vocal.
I closest comparison I could make would be to Tom Real & The Rogue Element's Disco of Doom work.
Ottone is one of my new favorite artists form the Young NRG camp and earns a spot in my
top 10 for the month. =).
LUSH :::This one starts of real minimal but still has a tribal
percussion loop to keep the pace going. At about the halfway point an almost
deep house/atmospheric synth comes in which throws me off completely,
then it break right back into the beat again. At the breakdown same synth, then a chopped
up vocal and it breaks into a harder breatbeat until the end.
I say from the edited vocal at the breakdown to the end was on but the rest of the
track i wasn't to fond of.
VIAL :::
Oh wow. I love the beginning of this one. Anything with heavy breathing chicks in it is hot.
After the beat breaks in in the beginning, the tune keeps energy levels a good rate until
it get to where a break should be. It slowly fades out the just comes back in with a beat....
where's the breakdown? The rest of the tune is good like the beginning.
Sounds like some old plump djs. Other than the lack of a breakdown, this tune is money.

Here we have a Slammin tune from Ottone
who has always turned out tunes with class. This one starts off with a very catchy “we gonna get
this booty, HEY” and some nice bass stabs. This vocal has be rinsed for ages, but in the sense of
only being in the mix and not after the breakdown…it makes perfect sense. There is trails of it
after, its in good taste tho and the tune really benefits from it. This is another dance floor
jammer and when the 2nd break down comes into the picture…..these ravers never knew what hittem.
This is a excellent tune with a lil something for everyone. Its glitchy, its heavy, its bassy,
its super danceable, its a MONSTER TUNE. Be sure to check this one out as well, you wont regret
it!

BADBOYZ "OTTONE REMIX" :::
Again Ottone come with an Italian break beat bomb! His remix of BadBoyz takes the original
and raises it to a height notches above the original. The sample usage, bassline modulation
and transitions are all 10's. Definitely look out for this guy for Breakspoll 2009.
